Hey Squirrels,
Hey Squirrels,

Well, actually they are not totally unrelated. They both have to do with me traveling but thats really stretching it. My poor over sized apple from yesterday ended up feeding 3 then getting tossed in the garbage (see pic).

So.. Here I am in las Vegas where apparently things really are larger than life because this apple does not occur in nature. It is embarrassingly large and was humiliating to walk through they busy trade show convention with. I got stopped no less than 6 times. People were awe stuck at the enormous circumference and one girl took my picture with it. My friend Kelly (who will be blogging here soon) had the great idea to start an Apple With blog… Apple with various celebs.. apple with Japanese tourists Apple with Santa … you get the picture..

Apparently I have no idea how to post on this blog.. all the pictures posted in the reverse direction I uploaded them in. Boo. But you get the picture right? I will start at the bottom and work my way up (since I have no choice)

Back on the plane, back in the air, back to the west. This time it’s Las Vegas where my feet touch the ground. This trip to NYC was FANTASTIC! So much fun!

I was greeted by sad news shortly after I logged on the internet today. English fashion designer, Alexander McQueen, was found dead at his London home this morning. Here is the story from The Washington Post http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/02/11/AR2010021101929.html
McQueen’s mother passed away on the 2nd, no doubt that was hard for him to deal with, and sadly it seems that it was just too much. Suicide is so tragic. A friend of mine from college also killed herself shortly after her own mother passed away from cancer. My heart goes out to anyone who has ever been touched by the pain of suicide.
I’ll just close with some photos of his work…
xoxo

Oopse. Looks like good ‘ol LP hasn’t posted a blog in over a year and 1/2. Shame on us. But not really. I was just thinking today how fragmented one can become with all these online social networks and websites. LP seems to be the Sybil of cyber space with all the compartmentalized bull-shizzy. Myspace, websites, mailing lists, blogs. Twitter… Buzznet… Facebook AHHHHHHHH And things are about to get worse! We are working on splitting the LP empire into even more “personalities” 5 last time I counted. Which reminds me … I once was in a job interview and the gentleman commented on how busy I am with all different jobs and projects.. how could I possibly squeeze in another? To which I replied “I’m not scared, I have a big brain” I got the job in case you were wondering.
But to get back on subject I am over the moon as I type with anticipation and joie de vie. We are getting all our ducks in a row here at LP so stay tuned for some really fun, beautiful, fragmented, compartmentalized awesomeness to come. And if you haven’t had a chance to check out LP recently because of all of your online personalities clamoring for your attention, check us out www.lipstickprophets.com and add one more personality to the group… our mailing list…
XO
